Hindu?

I don't even know how to spell it. yet, after knowing him for a semester and spending a train ride with him in greece a few minutes ago, kumar, a smooth pimp who loves the pussy, has perhaps opened my eyes to a simple lifestyle that I think would work very well for me. Hindu. As he put it, "we think of ourselves as actors in a play, we're just playing the part that is laid out for us". yes, seems simple enough. but here is the catch: 'you must do your best in everything you do". How awesome is that? Do your best and don't worry about anything, since by doing your best you're ensuring that everything else will happen like it's supposed to. Done and done. Now, time for my LAST authentic Greek Kebab in Greece before heading to 'pest. That's Budapest for those of you without Kumar's Lonely Planet Guide book.

Peace, yo.

Forever doesn't really mean 'forever'

So my nalgene broke yesterday, Yes it did. How pissed am I? Oh...I'm not very happy right now, that's for sure. Once I find it(i threw it down the hall since i was upset) I will take a picture and post it here for everyone to view. Let this post be a warning to all of you! Nothing is sacred anymore! If this or something equally bad (killed girlfriend, got over charged at wendy's, etc.) has happened to you, post about it! If you have hate in your heart, let it out!

To the people across the pond

Man, time is such a strange, cruel device. It can make us abhor our mere existence. Or it can make you realize just how fleeting life (and all that it encompasses) is. Take my study abroad experience. It has been the greatest experiences of my life, yet, less than a week from now I'll be gone. What will life be like after this? Is there life after study abroad? Now, the list of things I'll miss the most when I leave here.

Greggs (awesome place for cheap good food)
Aeroball (best sport ever)
Drinking like it's my job
Class so fake it makes the thought of UPS intimidating to return to
A single room
Dance clubs- The Carleton in particular
Friends and people I've met
Easy access to travel the world

...as I start listing I realize I could go on forever, so I'll just stop. Here is my conundrum. How I can deny you these and other opportunities? You deserve to see and do what I have, because it's something you'll never forget (and certainly won't regret). However, being selfish, I could never tell a friend to leave for a semester. I won't say you should study abroad...but well, you should. It's kind of a somber mood in my room right now, and this weak audioslave ballad isn't helping. In conclusion, here are all the places outside of England I have been to.
Dublin
Edinburgh
Amsterdam x2
Paris
Geneva
Chaminox, France
Cinque Terre (Italian Riviera)
Florence
Rome
Pisa
Zurich
Munich

and still to come...
Greece
Hungry

Wow, I am the shit.

Lord, I was born a rambling man

On Saturday the 11st of December most of you will wake up with a hangover. You will then stumble down from your bunked bed and try to find something to eat for breakfast. Most likely some tv, a movie or lots of wasted time on a computer will come next followed by about 30 solid minutes of actualy studying. Finals are coming up soon and you'll have papers that need completion as well. Me? I'll be boarding a plane to Athens, Greece. I will be bumming around Greece without showering, shaving or changing clothes until the 16th or so, when I hop on back of a giant sea turtle/flying turtle and convince her to take me to Budapest. I will bask in the land of cheap booze and fast women until the 19th, when Wizzair will send a representative to the street corner where I have passed out to slap me a dozen times and pull me by my ear to the airport and physically force me to fasten my seatbelt and return my seat and traytable to their upright and locked positions for the flight back to London.
