Seth's attempt to woo the blogging public by chronicling his poker tales eventually ended in ruins, laying crumbled adjacent to his hopes and dreams of ever being a world famous player. on the otherhand, my delusions of grandeur have just sprouted! actually, i have no desire to ever play $30/60 online like my brother does, because as much fun as winning $1000 hands might be...losing $1000 hands would be about 54x worse, in my opinion. I'm fine where I am, playing some lower stakes. For example, thus summer I have played for 154 hours, which is 6.3 days of poker, but this doens't keep in mind how i play 2-4 tables at a time, so its more like 3.5 days. so in a month and a half ive playing 90 hours and won...over $1000. and im not stressed nor particularly lucky, and i dont need the money, so im not playing out of necessity. just nice. easy. money. With some of this money 2 of my first purchases at school will be a bike and a hooka. Here in SLP, MN, home of ganstas and thugs, I have now decided to ride my bike equipped with headlamp everywhere i go in the evenings. its so nice out and believe it or not i look forward to a bike ride a few miles to a friend's house...because that means hooka. the greatest invention by a smelly turban wearing arab in the world. or turkish dude. or whatever. i might need to buy a gazebo to mimic the feeling in tacoma of setting in a gazebo at night, sipping lemonade, smoking some delicious hooka and chatting it up with personas. that is all.
